Sunshine before the dawn

Do you know, how does it feel?
when you lose the one you most need,
In an already frivolous life,
you lose one more purpose to live
High hopes, gleaming eyes,
the one who nurtured me to fly
Shattered dreams by innocuous plays
and I wonder how I strayed
spread my wings with eyes on the sky
but why my heart still cries?
I fled away for my eternal search,
losing what was within…
The warmth, the love, the selfless care
will take another birth to repay
The sins, the hurt, I remember it all
betrayal instead of promises we swore
I pray and bow my head now
give me some more sunshine before the dawn
I’ll embrace you deep to my chest
tell you how I loved you the most
Or maybe again I’ll make a trivial mistake
and say goodbye with a hopeful leap
